Niki is a Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, and CrossFit coach at DragonFly. She is ISSA, NASM, and Insanity certified. She also has a L1 CrossFit Certificate and is a certified weight loss specialist.
Her passions include helping people get the confidence and Inspiration they need to reach goals they never saw possible. She has two teenage boys and believes that balancing a busy family, career and still making time for your health and well being is very important.

Michael Dorman, Certified Personal Trainer
Michael is an ACE & NASM certified personal trainer who is passionate about inspiring people to find that fire that’s waiting inside them. He thrives on igniting their passion to become in the best physical shape they can be, and achieve any goals they put before them.
A fun fact about Michael is that hired Rick as my personal trainer 10 years ago and Rick is the person who inspired him to become a personal trainer and life changer as he did for him. Rick also “made” him run his first 5k that same year 🙂

Steve McCabe, Certified Personal Trainer
Steve McCabe was born and raised in Florida, where he grew up playing multiple sports recreationally including football, basketball, and competitive swimming. Focusing on football in high school showed Steve the benefit of a regular fitness regimen. Steve went to and graduated from Florida State University with Bachelors of Science majoring in Criminology with the intent to join law enforcement.
After college, Steve weighed over 270 lbs before he started a regular fitness routine to get in shape for the local agencies’ PT tests. His regular program included; boot camp style workouts, race running, and swimming. After losing 50 plus lbs, Steve fell in love with fitness and wanted to become a Personal Trainer. He moved to NC in 2013 and earned his Personal Trainer Certification from the American College of Sports Medicine in 2014. He also has a Level 1 certification from Training for Warriors. Steve has experience training in an individualized 1-on-1 setting, as well as small to large groups. He specializes in weight loss and modes of Metabolic Conditioning and Functional Fitness, but utilizes all facets of fitness in programming. He stresses the importance of having Fun while putting your work in. Steve’s philosophy for fitness is to “Fall in love with the journey, not the destination”.

April Gumaer, Certified Personal Trainer
April is a Certified Personal trainer (NASM) and she loves helping people find and maintain their healthiest and best life!
April was was born and raised 5 miles from Dragonfly. April has 2 boys – Hudson and Pierson and is married to Pete. April loves interior design and spending time with friends.

Marlaina Ferrari, Certified Personal Trainer
Marlaina found her passion for fitness about 6 years ago after loosing someone very close to her. She felt lost and didn’t know what to do with her life. She decided to try a kickboxing class for something different and it sparked a flame! She not only discovered the physical benefits of fitness but also how powerful the mental health benefits are as well.
She loved it so much she decided to make a career change into personal training. In 2014, she attended the National Training Institute in Raleigh, NC. Marlaina is a a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM and also holds a certification in kettlebell training and suspension training. Marlaina also recently completed her Fitness Nutrition Specialist program through NASM as well. Marlaina is on a mission to change people’s lives for the better!
