Coach Josh Stamper
Growing up on a goat farm in rural Wisconsin, Josh learned the value of true functional strength. He started wrestling at 4 years old and continued on into high school. He started training and competing in kickboxing and boxing. This led him into mixed marital arts (MMA) and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) training. Josh’s drive for physical fitness made him want to learn more. Josh attended to the University of Maryland and got his degree in Kinesiology. At Maryland, Josh became a student of human physical development. In college he found his love for weightlifting and stumbled into Crossfit. This made him want to apply that knowledge to help others. He became a certified personal trainer and a member of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and started my personal training career. He wanted to bring functional fitness to the public and help people reach their goals. Josh opened his own Crossfit box and has coached athletes at varies levels of Crossfit, weightlifting, powerlifting, along with strength and conditioning for various sports. His motto is “Fitness is freedom” and you need to fight for it.
