Barbell club includes (1) 1-hour class each week (Wednesday evenings at 6PM) spent learning and working on the skills of weightlifting.
Initially, the majority of class will be spent on technique of the snatch, clean and jerk. Once a member becomes more proficient they will progress to strength work as well as skills.
The overall goal of the class is to increase weightlifting proficiency, from the level of a beginner wanting to learn the basics, to a competitive lifter.
Barbell club members will also have access to open gym times.
